The Secret on “How To Get Healthy”

This isn’t some fad diet. This isn’t some fancy new workout routine. In fact, if you want to know how to get healthy without exercise you may just have to think outside of the box – especially if you are a Millennial or Gen Z.

We are often told that the secret to health and well-being lies within our ability to keep our bodies fit and our minds sharp. But what if I told you that the secret to the biggest jump in our health could be linked to the people around us? Or rather, lack thereof.

If You Want To Get Healthy, “Quit Smoking”

Okay, not “quit smoking” in the literal sense – although it certainly won’t hurt! What I mean is that if you find yourself identifying with the 30% of Millennials who say the always or often feel lonely, the consequences of that loneliness could be more detrimental to your health than you think! Gen-Z is estimated to be even higher!

Of course, this doesn’t just affect the Millennials and Gen-Z’ers. What has been dubbed the Loneliness Epidemic is propagating American society. In fact, 1 in 5 Americans feel totally isolated according to the Health Resources and Services Association (HRSA)!

So how do we get healthy without exercise? We must close the social knowledge gap!

The Knowledge Gap

I had a teacher in art school who told my class tales of his professors. One quote rang true to him, as it does to me. He said, “Can you imagine knowing exactly what you want to paint but not knowing how?”

As a fledgling art student I knew exactly how this felt. It sucked! But, this is the exact reason why I was going to school for art.

Likewise, if I wanted to know math, I could take math classes. If I wanted to know history, I could take history classes.

So why don’t we teach communication classes? If the problem is so pervasive, it seems like a natural solution! If we want to get healthy, the root of the problem is through education.

The “Workout” Routine

I went through the struggles of breaking myself out of the grips of the loneliness epidemic. It was the longest and most difficult battle I had to endure. Yet I came out on the other side and my personal mission is to help people join me.

I realized the most common problem people had when it came to socializing with others was being afraid of not knowing what to say. Folks, I know these blues!

Therefore I wrote my first book which has since become an Amazon #1 Best Seller to remedy this pain.
