Don’t let the COVID 19 shutdown stop you!
This whole COVID 19 outbreak shindig can put a real damper on your social improvement. If you are striving to become more social and outgoing you may feel like this is preventing you from making progress.
Don’t let that be the truth.
You can go out and meet a ton of people with a little ingenuity. In this post I will share with you THREE ways you can meet 1,000 people during the COVID 19 shutdown.
You can start with one and follow me on…
Ladies and gents we live in the age of social media! In fact, as an introvert I have found that being front and center in front of thousands of people on social media is pretty easy.
I advise you join a social media group of your choosing. And if you are anti-Facebook (I don’t blame you), here is how I keep my feed clean of other people’s bullspit.
Simply block everyone on Facebook except groups!
It may take a bit, but ever since doing that, the only thing that shows up on my feed is motivation from the various positive groups I’m in. Facebook can be a positive platform with just that little tweak.
Once you’ve found a group, make it a point to post every day. I have found that even with groups of up to 5,000 members only a handful will talk. I mean less than 20. It’s very easy to become a recognized name online. Give it a try!
Finally, the day has come where online gaming can be considered (somewhat) productive!
If you have a console or a computer hop online and meet new people with a similar passion to you. In fact, back during my MMORPG days I met plenty of folks I still stay in contact with!
(By the way, MMORPGs are games like World of Warcraft).
There are plenty of hobbies that you can start online and meet people with similar interests. In fact, they are plentiful and attract a wide audience! Toastmasters often has over 100 people show up to their various meetings worldwide!
Don’t wait for COVID 19 to end before you make a move! Now is a great time to practice your social skills, network, and meet new people!
All it takes is a little creativity!
